Sample Half-Day Tour

Many people like to tour Hawaii's royal palaces & other royal grounds. Remember, it's all up to you, but a typical Royal Tour itinerary might be:

We are picked up at our hotel in Waikiki. We are greeted with aloha, and fresh leis too. We have several destinations to get to, so let's get started!
Our first stop is Queen Emma's summer palace.
Pali Lookout is only ten minutes away, so we make that our next visit.
Mauna ʻAla is the final resting place for most Hawaiian royalty and it is our next stop.
We decided to visit nearby Kapena Falls.
Along the way, we find some petroglyphs.
Next, we visit 'Iolani Palace, which is the only royal palace in the United States.
From there we visit Kawaiahaʻo Church, known as the Westminster Abbey of Hawaiʻi.
The Mausoleum of King Lunalilo is in the church's courtyard.
Aliʻiōlani Hale is our last royal stop.
Outside Aliʻiōlani Hale is the statue of King Kamehameha the Great.
On our way back to our hotel we tour through Chinatown.
We return to our hotel. Today we saw a lot of great royal sights, took many pictures, learned a lot about Hawaiian history and culture, and learned some Hawaiian language. This is a day that we will always remember.
